      ... I had plenty of time to observe the 14,000 different license plate designs as each state resident never presented a duplicate. I also noticed the locals tend to speed up in construction zones although the signs warn of a double fine for perpetrators. Part of me believes this is a state plot to lure tourists into a trap. I bet all of those odd plated speedy cars are paid by the government to zoom in and out of orange-coned zones influencing tourists to keep up ...

      ... morning today. Headed for the laundromat and did up a couple of loads, then went adventuring. Went to the mounds at Ocmulgee National Monument and had a great visit. Good museum and video, amazing gathering mound with chief's circle, and visits to outside of funeral and other mounds. A bit of a walk for me through the river / backwater area with herons and egrets. Then it was on to the Fish and Pig for a great supper. Back to the camp early for some quiet time. A great ...

      ... a white Mustang convertible in the parking lot and they had been staying in Chattanooga. We opened the sunroof and drove through Knoxville without any problem and with no need for the by-pass. Although there was a fog advisory zone closer to Chattanooga it was beautifully sunny there.       Headed N on Sat. Took all morning to get packed up & leave. Tried for a visit w Nanette- she was on E Coast. Then got off on 60 in Tpa to see Su & Joel in hospital but they took her for MRI so we turned back to hwy. nice lunch at Sweet Tom. Arrived at Comfort Inn Macon, GA apex 8:30pm then to B&N till 10pm. Back in room but too tired to do much. CVS in am. LUNCH at PANERA near Charlotte,NC SEAGATE didn't work for what I need. Am reading mag RE blogging ...
