We were on the road early this morning - 8:45 AM. Well early for me anyway. We both remember where we were and what we were doing fourteen tears ago today. Our prayers are still with others, our country, and for the future. We thank God for this day. Again, I am awed by the miles of windmills, like a farmer's crop blowing in the wind. Now for just a few general observations about the journey so far:
1. The people are genuinely really friendly and helpful.
2. Petrol is cheaper $125.9 per Gal to $2.78 per Gallon. You have to pay before you pump.

... trailers with motorcycles, and motorhomes with motorcycles. It appeared that 9 out of every 10 vehicles was heading to Sturgis. We did also have a number of motorcycles heading east as well. These folks, we found out, visited the area last week and were on their way home before the crowds arrived. They are expecting up to 1 million motorcyclists ...
... took Izzie over to the pool for a swim. Mom and Dad bought her a little inflatable so she enjoyed sitting in the water and splashing about. When we got back, Dave made an excellent dinner. Dave is quite a good cook. By the time dinner was over, Izzie was ready for bed so the kids headed back to the condo. About this time, the hockey game started. I love it when the stars align and the Black Hawks win.

It was Date Night for Lisa and Dave. So Sheila and I spent the night at the condo and the kids had Date Night and spent the night at the trailer. This was their first time in a long time to sleep in. Sheila and I always hear the horror stories about being up all night with a crying baby. Regardless, we took our chances. Sheila and I took Izzie for a walk around the condo area.
