... Bulls and the hockey team Chicago Blackhawks. The stadium was awesome. We sat up in the nosebleeds but could see the game no worries. The atmosphere of all the sports over here are awesome. They really put on a show for the crowds with music, sound effects, lighting, cheerleading, mascots, quarter time contests, shooting merchandise out into the crowds and of course the game itself. It was preseason for the NBL so the game wasn't a huge deal but it ...

... me a great deal about the area in general! Corn and sunflowers are the main crops, with 425mm of rainfall and pretty cold winters - apparently the Interstate get closed off for days at a time because of the snow! ... then started the fire, and roasted marshmallows and read. It's was light until 9:30 or so, and was such a nice night around the fire! By 11 we were all in bed again, hoping for an early start tomorrow. It's time for me to hit the hay tonight, and hopefully get a full nights sleep in, and kick this slight it was 6 hours, so I'm hoping tonight I can get a good 8 hours! So from Jackson, Minnesota, good night and good day! ...

We crossed back over the Missouri River in South Dakota, and made it into Minnesota. Plains, farms, wind turbines, cows...

We stopped a little bit earlier than expected, but found a hotel right off the highway just as the kids really needed a break or sleep, and went for a great late night hot tub and swim. We'll drive extra tomorrow.
