Woke up fresh and raring to go after a great nights sleep - one thing about the USA, their beds are top class and when a double room means two queen sized beds, it's glorious to stretch out and enjoy the comfort and space!!! We hit the Interstate lacking coffee because Kodaka is a bit too small for a coffee shop, and they're a little short on restaurants too - last nights dinner was in a very scratchy diner inside a Subway outlet! So from Jackson, Minnesota, good night and good day! ...

We crossed back over the Missouri River in South Dakota, and made it into Minnesota. Plains, farms, wind turbines, cows...

We stopped a little bit earlier than expected, but found a hotel right off the highway just as the kids really needed a break or sleep, and went for a great late night hot tub and swim. We'll drive extra tomorrow.

... on my phone i looked at shane and saiid I think we are going to get wet again. The screen showed a big green/yellow mass that we would not be able to get around. So you must go on and we did. the winds were so strong (50-60 mile an hour) along with the trucks going by when Shane looks at me and says he is cold then you know it was a strong storm. luckily the ...
