Our friends from Odyssey Kristal Kraft and Larry McGee were coming to see us before we left Colorado and said they would be here around 4:30pm.....They drove from LoneTree, CO 213 miles to come see us and take us to dinner, the dinner we did not expect, but Larry wouldn't hear of it any other way.....We went to Thai Spicy Basil it was really good ...

... are 213 camping spaces. The majority have electricity available and some also have water. There are clean showers and a large laundry room. It is a huge park and I imagine when the trees are full, it is quite a sanctuary from the heat.

Bird watchers love to visit Lake Hasty and two vans full of these seekers arrived across the street from our camping spot. They had huge spotting scopes and I'm sure they enjoyed their time around ...

The ride into Eads was a rought one to say the least. The heat is really beginning to kick in and water is becoming more sparce. Looking at the same thing all day, warming water, hot headwinds, and a blistering sun can really play tricks on the mind. Our exhaustion didnt really kick in until the last 2 hours. Our spirits lifted as we spotted the town in the distance, but shifting elevations make things apear closer than they really are. Finally we reached the town ...
