Today we rode on a "fall photographers special" of the famous Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. We departed at 7:00am and returned at 7:30pm. Along the way we had numerous photo run-bys where we detrained and then photographed the train steaming past us.

Whitewater
... end we made it for seven miles running virtually through the middle of the city of Durango. There were threatening showers but they held off all day so it was hot most of the afternoon. so it was great to be on the water and off the motorcycle for a change of pace.
Dinner was at the Serious Texas BBQ, which was a few doors down the street from our motel. This restaurant came with high recommendations, and we were pleased with what they had to offer.
