      ... where she's lived her whole life. Apparently the town closed their school and the kids now have to go to the next town over, Aiken, MN. This is horrible because the Aiken kids call the Palisade kids "Stump Jumpers" and "Palisade Hicks". I've never heard of a "stump jumper" before, but she assured me it was not nice.       Around 4pm i decided the storm was almost over and took a walk downtown. Vendors from the annual Craft Sale were loading up their vehicles after being washed out today.       Weather report: Cloudy at times, Start temp 24C, end Temp 30C (nice riding weather)

      ... from a farmer's yard, we stopped. We found some fresh steelhead at Costco, (of course, it was enough for several meals.) and bought it for dinner. John cooked it on our little grill and the whole meal was delicious. After dinner, we walked down to Edna Lake at the Nisswa Resort to watch the sunset.
