We saw on the news this morning how bad the forest fires are. A fire burnt down a town yesterday. Also there is flash flooding in Utah! Glad we were not camping in Utah now - or driving. Also heard about the sniper shooting at cars in Arizona, so glad to be taking a different route - good to know!!! Apparently today we are on a typical American road trip. ... behind us....Hmmmmmm. It looked like a bomb went off with the huge billows of smoke roaring from the plains. Fire and water trucks coming from ALL directions. The wind wasn't helping.
