In the Asian section we saw Nilgai, an animal native to India and believed to be related to the sacred cow. There were White Naped Cranes, Sika Deer from Japan, Rheas, which look similar to an Emu and White Fallow Deer. The Deer came right up to the car window looking for food. We left Chester, CA early for the 290 mile (470km) run to Canyonville OR. It was freezing (42F/5C) but Digger was OK in his Limo with the heater on!!!!
