After hanging out in this area for awhile (and taking advantage of the lazy river), we decided to check one of the other areas out (called Wild West Water park) to see what we could do around there the next day. After we looked around briefly, we went back to our room and ordered Italian to our room from a nearby restaurant. We then watched Big Brother and headed to sleep, hoping ...

We stopped for dinner at a Perkins where we decided instead of going all the way to South Dakota, we would stop in Luverne for the night. Mom was a bit road weary and ready for a stretch and a good night's sleep.

Our total mileage for today was 386 miles. Tomorrow we're heading for the Western side of South Dakota! We'll see if we get there!

Today began with a very nice breakfast at the Best Western Inn! We noted the threat of thunderstorms and showers throughout the day and decided to stick to our original plan and head for a waterpark in Wisconsin Dells. We took the advice of last night's Front Desk Clerk and headed to Noah's Ark with the 25% off coupon that she gave us.

We parked in the first row of parking and walked into the park relatively quickly after picking up our tickets ...

from $158 to $39.98 and two tops, one from $90 to $10 and one from
$70 to $15. Was worth going in to save $243. I have hardly spent
anything on myself so it felt like a nice treat to get some new
    clothes that weren't from Walmart.

Speaking of which, stopped at Delafield
for the night, Walmart again. Thank you for a flat place to park
    again Walmart.

... Same result there so we back tracked a
couple of miles to a Walmart parking lot just outside Baraboo WI. It’s the second time this trip I’ve taken
advantage of their free parking. It’s
not really camping but has the advantage of having food, supplies, and a clean
    bathroom. It’s especially nice when
you don’t want to drive anymore and I did about 300 miles today which is way
    above ...
