... We need one of these in Australia.

The waterfront has lots of restaurants and bars a bit like Docklands. The views across the harbour are terrific but the mountain backdrop was covered in cloud. We walked to the start of Stanley Park but the batteries were low (mine not the scooters) so we headed back to the Hotel to get cleaned up for dinner.

Donkey enjoyed the harbour but was a little mischievous. We will visit Stanley Park and the mountains tomorrow.

Living on seafood (had scallops for lunch) and loving it. Today (Tuesday) We walked to Gastown, a very quaint old part of the city with cobbled streets, the landmark of which is a steam clock. Once an original trade area cause it's close to the harbour, and now a thriving shopping, ...

We were leaving Vancouver today for our next adventure, but the train wasn't going until tea time, so our host graciously allowed us to leave our gear in the apartment, though we sorted and packed before we went out for the day.

Arrived downtown in time for the eleven o'clock free walking tour. We've made a habit of taking as many free walking tours as we can in the various cities we visit. You tip the guide what you think they were worth, and so they invariably give ...

Yet another lazy day, We started the day having breakfast at the hotel, the impressive thing about this hotel is that most of the herbs and some of the vegetables come from the garden on the roof even more impressive is the honey is from there own bee hives and it was great. After breakfast we headed to the Sky Train which by the way is underneath the hotel just a few steps and your at ...
