        Tonight I wasn't sure what I was going to shoot and I was running out of time. While I sat here reading I suddenly got the urge to go shoot Mount Diablo with the sunset across the delta. Shortly after I got set up, fireworks started going off. I ended up not only being treated to cool sunset but, some fireworks too!

        ... waiting, I looked up to see a man in a car with his arm hanging out of the window, and a woman holding it. When he grimaced, I looked closer and saw that the woman holding his arm was actually poking him with a syringe. A drive-thru injection. And I can't decide if that's clever or just wrong. Certainly not as sanitary as I'm used to, but convenient, no?

        What is not so convenient? I'm not so pleased to report ...

        ... br> We still have a lot to prepare for this wonderful trip. Getting passports and fundraising among other things.
        Until we leave I will write from time about our preparation. I hope, too, that this may help or inspire other teachers in their planning trips with students. Once on the trip I hope to have the time to post our story.
