    ... around water we just know how important it is to all our lives.

    The mountains guarding the valley look stunning in the sun, photos never do nature justice!!
    We see lots more sheep than I remember & lots of happy cattle (free range), the only downside is seeing and smelling a feedlot full of dirty cattle!

    ... on the agenda today was to see these weird things called tufas which are limestone towers that used to be underwater, but when LA expanded they took too much water out of monolake and they became exposed. The guidebook says it’s one of the top 10 must see things in california, and while they are a bit weird I wouldn’t go rushing to the middle of nowhere to see them!
