    ... Tim talked a local pizza delivery guy into taking us to the nearest local place to enjoy some relaxation, food, and cold beverages. While there, we met another couple who also loved to ride, and Dave insisted on giving us a ride back to our hotel so again we had no need for a taxi.

    Today, we see the Archway in St. Louis and then head off toward Illinois...

    By the way, is today Thursday ?

    ... another 8 minutes or so the dang elevators arrive.

    The elevators are kind of cool. If you've never been there, it's like a ferris wheel and the elevators are little round compartments that look ALOT like a front-load washing machine.     ... the day was the burger for brunch and we thought that Ted Drewes was a diner so we were planning to eat our dinner in there. When we arrived it was just a takeaway ice cream store. You ordered your ‘concrete’ through a window and it was handed to you. It was packed outside and we had trouble finding a parking space.
