Decided to return to Brookgreen Gardens. A couple from up north bought 4 plantations - not utilised after the Civil War.. It is amazing. He had inherited his money and did good works and she was a sculptor so they decided to make a sculpture garden to display her work and other American sculptures. I can’t begin to describe it. I ...
... Also, all but one trail was flooded and even sections of the boardwalk path were under water, from recent floods. We walked as far as we could, looking at old growth hardwood forest and squirrels.
