    ... interesting thing I had to do. I went back to the fields I had just walked through and wandered around on some tiny dirt paths that crossed the AT. I found some cows, and some good views. It was actually fairly pleasant. But I was still incredibly grateful when the sun went down enough for me to reasonably go to bed.

    We also went into The Arts Depot - an old depot turned into artists' studios and a gallery. We met several artists and watched them work. The one who intrigued me the most was weaving tapetries.     ... stop with beautiful flowering trees, and in the afternoon, in Virginia, we actually saw cows with baby calves in green fields and beautiful purple flowered trees along the highway.
