Woke at 5.30am, thinking it was 6.30, and got up and dressed ready to leave for Detroit. So spent the extra time sending emails. Left Findlay at 7.30am and arrived at Detroit Airport at 9am approx. No traffic jams or construction work to hold us up, though they were working on the interstate highway to the border in Ohio. In Michigan the roads are rougher since the state isn't very financial. Booked in, said goodbye to Cindy and her mum and went through customs. ...

Afterwards I packed up another lot of things to post home and we went to the supermarket where there is a PO to post it back to Australia. We leave early tomorrow for Detroit where I catch an Air Canada plane to Toronto and the next stage of my ...

I had a "black raspberry and chocolate chunk scoop + toffe caramel scoop in a waffle cone" ...

We all went to their Methodist Church this morning. A lovely friendly church with people to greet you at the door, name tags for the new Pastor to get to know you and members who come and talk to someone new. They had a modern band to play along while people sang - guitars, drums and lead singers - with the words displayed on a screen. Then we went home and Cindy began fixing lunch because her son ,James, his wife (Jessica) and their sons (Jacob and Jackson) ...

... Cindy's grandson. Jacob, was playing soccer there in a soccer carnival. We took their younger grandson, Jackson, with us to another restaurant for "supper". This one was called "Bob Evans". Another lovely place - had an omelette with cheese and mushrooms. This area grows corn and soya beans and that's about all you see along the roads. Lots of lovely red barns and silos and various styles of houses. Used up the battery on my iPad today from all the photos I ...
