... We did go back to CT for Christmas from 12/17 through 12/28. While airline travel to CT was far from ideal, it was great being home and seeing our friends and family. We love being able to travel as we are, but it did confirm how much we miss you all. These times with family and friends are so precious. I even got home in time to keep with our annual polish tradition of making pierogi's. We made about 160 cheese/potato, ...

... what everyone did for the day and get to know each other.

There is definitely no one here from CT. Most folks are from northern Texas, Montana, Minnesota and British Columbia. When we say we are from CT, some folks give us a puzzling look........not sure if they don't know where it is or can't believe we've come this far to get away from the snow.

This is an RPI Park - not great, but only a half hour from Corpus Christi, which we want to check out.
I have blood tests scheduled for tomorrow morning in CC, and afterwards, we'll explore the USS Lexington, the aircraft carrier and museum docked in Corpus Christi.

      First, Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving dinner was a potluck at the clubhouse in the RV park. The park provided 3 different styles of Turkey (baked, smoked and fried) and a Ham. The hundred or so people that came ensured a huge variety of tasty treats (at least 30 different dishes). Everything we tried was good, and we even managed to pile up plates for leftovers. Missed the family of course but we had a great meal.

... has a great blend of people, culture and community where traditional mixes with eclectic and vibrant meets casual. It all comes together in a relaxed, friendly place that really does offer something for everyone. The Rockport beach is nestled between Little Bay and Aransas Bay ---- it is a mile long pampered wide sand beach and is absolutely great for year long fishing (Bruce is so happy about this) really ...
