... This involved a very large mallet and metal patterns that after making the leather moist you banged to leave an impression. Very effective but quite tricky to be uniform or consistent. Nonetheless we all came away with a unique design and a fully functioning stained belt that not all of us will be wearing when we get back home but all enjoyed having a go at doing.
The leatherwork took so long and we were all so tired we decided to take a breather until the next activity. ...
