    ... do I really need to tell you what he purchased there?...and, of course, the Harley shop to get a poker chip. A stop to buy more Jack Daniels limited edition stuff that, apparently, can only be bought in Tennessee, and then we drove into the thick forest of Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

    The road had some pigtails, 20 mph curves, and an incline that was not too steep and bordered ...

    ... only the 2nd time in six years - and I was just too cold and ****** to pump more water - with the broken pump, until daybreak. If I would have pumped water, my body would not have gave me the issues. I knew better, but no real harm -no foul! After day break, I was treated to an awesome sunrise! - then more hills.... not big hills, but to water-lacking body - felt like Everest! By the last hill, I actually tossed my polls and pack down.....cussed ...

    ... It's also nice to be back in an area of the country that we can very much relate to the down country Southern twang in the speech patterns.

    Another nearly 500 miles today, and only appx. 450 to go tomorrow. Another traffic jam outside Knoxville today, for two days in a row of shut down stopped traffic. This one was due to our third accident viewed on this nearly 7500 mile journey.

    ... 2 full days that I could be catching up with friends and family.....but no service! So for now, I am catching up on new episodes of "America's dumbest criminals.", "Greatest police chases.", and "Bones". As for this hostel, GREAT FOOD, nice people, good bunk house - my only complaint, the water situation SUCKS! I went to get a shower, soaped up....and......NO FREAKING WATER! It took be about 25 minutes to just get the soap to a manageable level (the water only dripped out ...
