      ... we had stayed a few days ago. We had a bit of a walk round the lake which, unlike last time, was absolutely mobbed because of the public holiday. We enjoyed an ice cream before getting back on the road. We dropped in to look at the old Lake Louise station and admire a couple of old carriages. Everywhere we went we saw signs warning about grizzlies in the area which was a bit alarming. We never saw any though, not a single one!

      ... in our little Mazda 2, we reached (another) lake called Two Jacks. Even though it was on a major road it was incredibly peaceful. We spent some time there sitting by the lake edge and playing in the sand. How cute. Further along the lake we saw a tiny island.
