Had a nice sleep right along the river and the loud noise of the river rapids didn't bother us so we must of been buggered. Had a hot porridge breakfast as it was really cold and an overcast grey day. After breakfast we drove down the Highway to the information center which had some good displays set up about the park and the animals. We watched an interesting movie on black bears and grizzly bears and what to do if we are to come across one when out on one of the trails. The ...

    ... quite upsetting :(

We eventually arrived in Golden (which is where we were staying) and had a right palava getting into the hostel carpark and basically had to drive around town 3 times in order to figure out how to get in. Luckily for us the town was tiny and only really had one street with about 20 shops/restaurants on it.
The hostel was really nice. Very hippie/commune like though which I loved haha. It reminded us a bit of Elysium (from the ...

... especially for Eva. That was here first time on the river ever. And here class 4, so it was really exciting! The second day we hiked whole Iceline trail with the glimpse of one of the highest watterfalls in Canada - Takkakaw falls, 282m.The third day we spent at beautiful Emerald lake.

CZ: V Yoho Parku jsme si to opravdu užili a moc se nám tu líbilo. Přijezd z provincie Alberta do Britské Kolumbie je přes Kicking Horse pass ve ...

... Monika stays there washing our clothes. We'll make them dry at the motel, we are going to stay here for 2 nights.
There is not a lot to choose for supper in this town, and we finally decide for some pizzas, and we eat them in the room, while we get connected to the web and investigate a little bit about our destiny for tomorrow: Yoho NP. It will be a long and hard day, I'm afraid.
    Distance driven: 415 km.
