... things along the way.
We will be visiting a few friends and family along the way (my mums cousin, Bonnie lives in Santa Clarita, CA....a friend of a friend lives in Silicone Valley so offered to show us San Fran...meeting up with Chayce and Max in Las Vegas)
Once we see everything we can we will most likely be heading back to Vail, CO for a ski season, however this is very dependent on jobs and finding accommodation ...
Today we got our plate for the truck in the mail!!! This means we are pretty much good to go whenever.
We also parked up downtown, had some lunch, then walked around a lot. We saw a few different parks which were mostly empty and the grass had seen better days - it's been so humid that most of the yards here are starting to struggle a bit.
... we had Darrens social security card and the title for the truck in the post....just the plate left to come!! We chilled at the pool then went with steve to see Grandma - she was almost falling asleep when we left!
That's about it.....just one more little shout out to my mummy as I'm not sure when she will be reading this...I'm hoping you are reading this after a successful operation and we LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH!!!
... let down was a sign we read whilst paying to get in….the Australia section was closed for updating etc (it closed yesterday!!!) So this meant no kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, reptile house etc…really sucked but still plenty to go see.
They have an Africa section, Indonesia section and a building called The Reef with fish. Along the way we saw many types of monkey and ape, red panda, komodo dragon, HONEY BADGER, Lions, Wallabies, ...
... with a few food places, games area, gym, racket ball courts and the coolest thing....a slide!! (reminded us a little of pictures we have seen of Google headquarters).
We don't have a bunch else planned for the day...Darren is just attempting to fix a moped and I'm attempting to keep up to date with the blog.
See all the pics of the Amish and also the cool stuff we found in the flea market.
Love ya xxxxxxxxx
