          I am officially a leaf peeper! That is somebody who travels around just to look at the autumn leaves. And they have been fairly spectacular,although not quite at their peek.           Not wanting to waste a moment, I reconned the best things to do in Newport, and drove us out to Bellevue Ave to visit "The Breakers", former holiday home of the Vanderbilts. This area is home to some of the most magnificent mansions of the Gilded Age, jaw-droppingly gorgeous creations of awesomeness. An hour's tour of "The Breakers", and a drive out to the very snooty Newport Country Club, and we were about ready for dinner.

          ... looked like it could be the set for The Office, and the few interactions I had couldn't have been friendlier. A nice little overnight stop :) And so now I'm in Providence Rhode Island, which I'm ashamed to say I haven't seen enough of. This is partly due to the constant rain, and partly due to a fairly good Sleeping Beauty impression I did yesterday. But I'm sure it's a lovely little city, sorry Providence for my lack of exploration. I'm now about to head off ...
