        ... up because when we were in Bellingham before we left for the cruise we had stopped at the local Walmart on a Saturday and discovered that the parking lot was literally full of cars with British Columbia plates. We asked the clerk at the check out if that was normal and she said they all come down from Canada to shop on the weekends. Wally World is always a walk on the wild side but this one was especially odd.

        ... good way to cap off a 100 miler training program.’ I was annoyed with myself for having this honest conversation, but I realized then and there, if a 100 miler was in my future, it would be Cascade Crest 2013 since I would be perfectly trained and have guaranteed entry because of my volunteer status. I told Tim later, and I think he was a little annoyed too since it took him a few months to coming around to the decision to enter.
