... Even nicer was a chance to talk with him, meet his wife and three young triplets. His two days older children were out for the evening. Ed has parted from the ride to begin to find transportation back to Oregon so I am riding solo now. Tomorrow morning I pick up a package of maps at the post office to guide me. We used the free hop on and off trolley to tour downtown. Visited the Louisville Slugger Museum and toured the factory. Great little shops and restaurants all throughout downtown. Going to Churchill Downs today and will be taking a riverboat cruise down the Ohio River this evening. Life is ...

... zip-line system. It was sick to be flying down this zip-line at high speeds and hear things like water springs in the background and see nothing but caverns all around you. It was a great last stop in Kentucky before we started our 9 hour drive to DC. We are reaching the tail end of the trip and yet when we keep talking about it, we realize that this trip has been more then we could have ever dreamed of. But we aren't done yet, DC is up next.
