Kael and Chloe understand the set up/take down process much better now, leaving us in relative peace to get the chores done. Michele and I are also getting better at it to after all of our practice over the trip.

... to help (they didn't offer, mind you), most of the tasks are too difficult for their little muscles and minds. We try to get them involved by asking them to observe so they can be of help later, but that tactic is about as effective as telling Chloe not to go in the water because she'll be cold when she gets out.

From there, we made our way out of the National Park and back towards I-5. Along the way, we were treated to a number of interesting sites - waterfalls, valleys, rivers, etc. We needed a place to stop for the evening and chose the park from our second night, Toutle River. We grilled some ribs for dinner and settled in with a movie for the night. We're excited for tomorrow, as we plan to get an early start up to northern Washington to visit with our aunt, cousins, and their families. Despite the forecast for rain, this promises to be an interesting day. Check back tomorrow for Jackie's writeup.
