It's amazing what a good night's sleep will do. We both feel pretty good today and most of Bob's altitude symptoms have gone away. Maybe it's the Coca Tea as suggested by Dick and Arna in their coments to our last post (It's always readily available in the hotel lobby), or the Ibuprofen and good night sleep may account for the improvement.
It was another early day for us. We were up and on the road to the airport at 6:15 this morning to catch our flight to Cusco, Peru. Cusco, located in Southeastern Peru in the Andes Mountain Range, is the former capital of the Inca empire and the jumping off point for travel to Machu Picchu, where we will travel the day after tomorrow.
After the triumphs and tribulations of the previous couple of days, it was with an air of excitement and a surprising cold floor that we awoke and prepared ourselves for the uber exciting day ahead.
