Norbert and Brunhild welcomed me to their home and we made plans for the following ...

... with the last kick of the game. Celebrations went on at the Veltins Arena and on the journey back into town (just as well since it took nearly an hour thanks to tram problems). Strangely enough, the atmosphere in Gelsenkirchen was now much livelier. A few bars stayed open to accommodate our merriment and we made full use of them to celebrate, inflated prices be damned. Though my friends caught the early train back after a kebab, and I was in bed ...
