... the water. We saw lots of herons nesting in the tallest of trees, and we were surprised that there were so many people walking on a Friday afternoon - but the weather was lovely! We walked Nana's legs off, as the reservoir was actually really big! We drove to Altena to eat our picnic in the sun at the side of the river, the views were equally beautiful and the castle looks wonderful in the sunshine. On the way home we drove up the hill - scary! - to see the castle ...

... im Karibischen Meer würde ich gerne per Hand gegen Koje die Inseln besuchen. Weiter durch Mexico, USA nach Kanada.
Von Alaska möchte ich nach Russland.
Dann geht es wieder gen Süden, nach Japan und China, Siam, Thailand.
Gerne möchte ich dann über Neuguinea nach Australien.
Von da geht's zurück über Indien, Iran und die Türkei nach Europa.

Es wird auf jeden Fall eine lange und spannende Reise auf die ich mich sehr freue.

... Westfalenstadion where on home matches it is packed to the rafters with disciples paying homage to the currently successful Borussia football team. They do enjoy the benefit of being the only team in town but the locals back them to the hilt. I don't think we've been to a place where the support is so one eyed. ... aviaries and fish ponds. I have always been fascinated by Japanese Koi carp, although you need a big pond for that. Steffie ended up buying a cat toy for Luna and the Germans bought some hamster accessories. The whole place wasn't really well presented. It looked a bit tired and old; perhaps gimicky is the best way to describe it.

Today we went for a nice long walk together on the outside of Recklinghausen. I believe that this was an old mining hill. The weather was a little cloudy and threatened rain, but it didn't happen. Once again the walkways were great, with paving stones all the way up. I think the best thing (besides the ending :>) ) was the bridge over the highway.
