... ticket for 1hour (as this is all the
change I have left!) and set on a manic run around Hamburg. Not wanting to
waste time looking to tourist info, I head off in the direction of a tall,
interesting tower, which turns out to be St Mikaels church! I have a quick look
inside, marvel at the beauty and then head back out and off in the opposite
direction to see what else I can see in my 30 remaining minutes.

Tonight we are staying outside of Aalborg. We travelled to Skagen which is located at the northern tip of the Jutland peninsula. It is a major shipping centre and fishing town. I absolutely adore Aalborg! It is not a tourist part of Denmark by any means but it is wonderful. The people are so lovely and friendly, it is very safe and clean, the night life is great, it is beautiful and the food!...... I don't think the food gets any better than it does in Denmark!
I have been here twice already but plan on going many more times and hope, one day to go on a more permanent basis :-)
