It is also great to think we walked the same beach that Angie's grandfather would have walked over 100 years ago. From there we headed down the coast to Frederickshaven and had some lunch. Had some amazing fish cakes. Then we had to revert back to the old ways and try to get home without the use if GPS, as Sprint service is far less than reliable, I think we have ...

... pools, as well as an outdoor one for seals. A very pleasant afternoon! We had an early dinner in a pub down by the waterfront, the drove back through some rain to the hotel. The next day we visited Aarlborg, which had a large Viking burial ground, with a museum nearby. After that, we had a quick visit to the Utzon Center in town, just for a moments nostalgia about the Opera House, then a drive back along some lakes. A pretty big day all round. The duty free whiskey was well ...

... museum on the site. Whilst we do enjoy visiting museums such as these and indeed the displays, including whole skeletons are very well done, there comes a time that the draw of the rare, lovely outside weather proves too much so we ended our stay, leaving the museum after a quick sandwich in the restaurant (16.00 for a slice of bread each with some salami and ham ie an open sandwich and a cup of coffee, not the best value for money we’d ever ...
