          The meals were ok.

Phil had crispy skin duck, but the the skin was not crispy and there were no carrots with the meal, as per the menu. There were no croutons in the soups, as per the menu.

Karen had fillet of fish with bones, no carrots as per menu.

Barb had vegetarians strudel which she said was ok!

We all had apple strudel for dessert and that was lovely.

We have just come back from a lovely trip up to Lake Konigssee, and a boat trip down the lake to St Bartholoma. The lake is nestled between the mountains, and is 602m above sea level with an average depth of 150m. It is the cleanest lake in Germany, with the water being pure enough to be classified ...

A million fallen leaves, a cliff face and many rose prickles later Brendan found himself body surfing down towards the gorge legs first. An anxious couple of seconds followed as he struggled up the muddy mountain back to relative safety. Deciding we were not to leave empty handed ...

One of these days I'm actually going to be able to get some sleep.

Today, I woke up early so I could grab breakfast before going to mass. I dressed up and walked to the cathedral, where they have high mass every Sunday at 10:00am.

It was fabulous. I adored listening to the music bounce off all the cathedral walls. A full string orchestra played as well as a beautiful choir ...
