Giovannie Paolo which has now been converted into a working hospital - I thought this was pretty amazing - Santa Maria dei Maracoli which is a lovely church made of marble - S.Giorgio Maggiore located on it's own island with the most amazing lookout of the city from the bell tower (this was a highlight not to be missed and gives a better view than San Marco) - San Marco at the main square.       ... on Friday, so we took the train at 10am to Munich, Germany and then to Salzburg. When we got to the city, we headed to the "Old Town" area, which is full of adorable shops and restaurants. After purchasing a few Mozartkugel (made of Marzipan, nougat, and dark chocolate), we pressed on towards Mozartplatz.       Welcome to the city of salt, Red Bull and Sound of Music. Today was a shopping day as Nick had a blow out in his shoes and he was sick of the rain flowing into them over the last few days.       We also visited the Salzburg Franciscan Church, which was very cold inside (all stone building, and temperatures in the heat of the day in the 90's. Someone was practicing a Bach piece for the organ, so we were lucky enough to have a listen. The overtones in the church were incredible!
