Awake at 0600 dressed, breakfast & left at 0830 for our morning trip to Salzburg. And sunshine as we leave Innsbruck. As we leave onto motorway there is quite a blockage on the oncoming side ( fortunately ) trucks ++ probably due to a religious holiday tomorrow. Trucks are not permitted on highway on weekends or public holidays. We arrived in Salzburg 10am after a short toilet stop just before. As we were too early to check into our hotel we met a ...

Today was the first day we have slept in past 7 am and saw a little sun shine! It was so nice. We took it easy this morning by walking around the entire city (not hard to do, it is a small place) before heading to our tour of the Bavarian Alps! The tour was very different from what we expected. Only mom and I were on the Alps tour and another man was on a salt mining tour. The combined the two tours together, which was near impossible. So ...

... pay our respects to those who lost their lives at the hands of the Nazi regime. A cold, dark, dirty and terrible place made us all realise just how lucky we are that we didn't have to try and survive in these disease ridden conditions. The bullet holes in the cement walls and scratch marks in the gas chambers will be something I'll never forget. From there we continued forward to Prague, (the hidden city.) Until then, ...
