Luckily we are in Bohnj for the 9th International Wild Flower Festival and it is what it says, fields and mountains of wild flowers. …... It really is all in the planning! There has evidently been a small chapel here for 1000 years which was extended into a baroque church which was demolished in 1903 and replaced with the current ...

... but as we got a good deal we expected that, we have a pleasant balcony overlooking next doors trees and crazy golf so it is perfectly adequate. Our only gripe is that the lake rooms not only have a stunning view, they are also the only rooms with air con! we ask for a fan and get it, no chance of a move the hotel is full, so hopefully it won't be too hot. The lake is stunning. We had seen photos but couldn't believe that it really ...
