On the 27th we checked out to the Dumbo Arts Festival that we explored last year too. We saw some studios and some artists were even set up in a real old-school boxing gym called Gleason’s. Originally started in 1937 it’s pretty famous with the likes of Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali having trained there. For lunch we had probably the best pizza I have ever eaten! ... to get to the hotel later after a long day of drinking and driving and we got ready for what would be another great meal. We ate at Prohibition Pig in Waterbury (forgot our beer stamp here which upset me). 520.7 msf.

... looked like some churches. Some people singing with all their might, others dancing and raising hands, some pointing up with arms out stretched. I even tried to get pictures of some of that. How people show appreciation or love varies so much world wide. We need to celebrate that diversity and know that each is valid and true for that ...

... after just coming back from Spain so I did not have much to play with. We found delicious giant pizza slices though, right on the board walk. I would return just for that pizza... We did go to the beach this time. It was not exactly the cleanest or most lovely but it was still a relaxing pass ...

... actually quite a good runner, and the race he was doing was a 5 km run through the city of West Chester. Since we lived about a block away from the starting line, we had plenty of time to get ready for the race.

As we headed to the starting line, we couldn't see any other contestants there and the staff girl told us the race had actually started 2-3 minutes ago!

For a 5 kilometer run, 2-3 minutes is a lot... I think ...
