... We arrived in Stratford and first went to Ann Hathaways house. This was her house before she married Shakespeare. Truly an amazing house and gardens and trying to get our heads wrapped around the fact that the house was from 1400. We then headed into town to Shakespeare birthplace which was a lot smaller and right in centre of town. We learned a lot about his life. ... the right direction. We walked through many fields and crops with rows cut out to walk without damaging the crop. As we walked Eric navigated us through several towns. The team song is sung by a very happy bunch of blokes before another fantastic meal is served up by the local ladies. We have a few beers and a chat with our opposition players while watching the late game (played between two teams of solicitors - one side from London) playing some very ordinary cricket as the rain continues to fall.
