Whilst I really enjoyed stroling around in Littly Italy, viewing the city 300 meters above the ground at the Eureka Skydeck was truly the best part of the day. The elevator takes you up to the 88th floor in just 40 seconds. The view from up here is really cool and because the weather was good, you could see really far. ... away from it! The same day as we did the vineyard tour, the st Kilda festival was on so we headed back there afterwards. The place was jammed, stages had been set up everywhere and there was some cool bands playing. The weather was gorgeous so we chilled out listening to bands for the evening. Apparently April from home and away was there somewhere but I couldn't find her!

Up bright and early, showered and shaved, and struggling with the Nespresso machine, or whatever it's called. Don't usually have troubles with domestic appliances (well, OK, ignoring the washing machine, which is what I generally do). But this is beyond me. After a while, Ania appears. I tell her I can't make the machine work. Strange, she says. She reaches behind it, and it springs to life! Rule 1 - switch it on!

... were really surprised when we got off the bus to find out that the temperature had dropped from 36-37C to the low 20s. What a relief!

Later we did a loop around the downtown on the free Melbourne City Circle Tram. Melbourne has the largest urban tram system in the world.
