On a day that started off warm and then climbed to 36 degrees, I took a one hour tram ride from Kew to St Kilda. It was a day that an arts and crafts market was being held along the foreshore, so when I got there I had a good look at the stalls which were full of crafty bits and pieces that I had no room for in my suitcase. Back at the airport by 3:00pm to sit and wait until 10:00 - we are all hanging out for an alcoholic drink but you can't get one until you go through customs and of course we don't know if and when that will happen! We have all had a great day - very unexpected but good. We are currently sitting in one of the two cafés waiting until a more reasonable time before we can have our ...

Flight to KL

We arrived at Melbourne Airport at around 7:00 pm, and checked in our suitcases. We then went through Customs, where Erik had his Vegemite taken off him because it was 45 ml too big. He offered to suck some out but it was no use. Normally you can't have anything larger than 100 ml of liquid in carry-on baggage. This was not the first time Erik has had something taken off him by Customs. ...
