Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). Went out for tea at the campsite across the roads' restaurant and got soaked in a thunder storm. Looking forward to a busy day at Playmobile land tomorrow. ... that crosses the river, which has also become overcome with love locks and even a love bicycle; at least I think that's what it was. We were expecting bad weather, so we were pleasantly surprised to even see a bit of sunshine, even if it is Summer!

I am now in Holland for a short time to see some friends after first collecting my motorcycle which again has been excellently prepared by my friend Rob.
Now..... which direction...North, East, South or West? The best thing is not to plan too much and let the weather forecast be one of the deciding factors.

... outlets, bathrooms, a restaurant, and tables for you to get some work done. In fact, I’m writing this on the train. There’s also WiFi but is cost 5 Euros (forget that!). In the evening, I arrived at my destination of the infamous medieval town of Rothenburg. More on that tomorrow.

... an impressive 38m. From here, a series of walking trails allowed us different views of the Rhein, explore castles (though a lot of them are gated up so that tourists cannot go inside) and a chance to warm up in the cool 5c temperature. As shown in one of the videos below, Spring has yet to have sprung, but they are pleasant walking tracks anyway and the crispness in the air is refreshing.
