... went to the pearl factory! I got my pearl ring that I've wanted for the longest time. Everybody got a little something. After the pearl factory, we went to Elephant Trunk Hill. We then made our way back to the hotel for our tour's farewell dinner. We said goodbye to our tour guides and the other families we would no longer be traveling with. I am lucky enough to have 2 visits from Carol & Don this year, transit stops on their way to Ireland.

They arrived very early on Weds morning, and as it was my day off we made the most of the time, starting with breakfast at McD's at the airport - that most Chinese of all experiences!

There is an airport bus that runs from the golf hotel at my complex, and we had a lovely tiki-tour ride back ...

... both orphanages, the girls were called by their Chinese names. We were greeted by the Doctor, the Nurse (both cared for Hannah), the Director and another Assistant Director. A special part of the meeting happened when they told us this was the Doctor that gave Hannah her Chinese name, which means strong and beautiful.
