What can I say.. A suite spread across two floors.. An absolute dream come true. Service was immaculate, as were the rooms! Would definitely stay here again should we decide to visit in the future

While visiting Canada we commented on this often. So on that line am I going to miss the opportunity to stuff our faces and regret it afterwards? Nope. So, I mentioned at the end of my last blog that we were travelling to Vienna, but we (I) wanted to see CERN (French for the European Organisation for Nuclear Research). Unfortunately with our new travel plans we didn't have time to do a tour, but I still wanted to at least stand outside and above the place where the Higgs Boson was confirmed (I don't like saying discovered, because it was sort of already there; we just didn't know how to see it!). But, we ...

Breakfast in room, picked up our tickets from the train station and changed some money from CHF to Euro. Walked to lake Geneva, took a boat ride on the lake - very cold out on the lake. Lunch at Burette Les Bains, a hidden gem on Lake Geneva. Walked to Old Geneva Town then back to our room for a ...

Battle and bruised I had finally made it, Geneva and CERN, in all its glory had finally came to me. To my surprise, it was the least impressive city I saw in Switzerland. I imagined the city would have been maintained better then it was. It did have sweet
sculptures strewed about the city, giving it some eye candy along with the opera house. They
dont even have the hot Swiss that I have been seeing in other cities.
