      Perfect stay

Loved the quiet location away from the strip and yet minutes drive to all the locations. I'm not a gambler so have nothing to say about the casino but enjoyed the rest of the stay and restaurant. Best part was getting room at ridiculously cheap rate of $25 and no resort fees..

... It was so high and Crowdy was sort of a little ***** and got scared. Hahaha. Then we jumped back on the coach a headed to the Grand Canyon stoping along the way at a little roadhouse to get some morning tea. We couldn't believe how far it was. We thought it would be only down the road but we just kept driving and driving. About 5 hours later we arrived at the Grand Canyon airport and all the people doing the helicopter tour got out and went inside the airport. We were inducted ...

... 8217;t we could be in for some problems. Eventually the light went out and we breathed a sign of relief. A few minutes later the light was on again, causing more concern, but it finally went out and stayed out. We had planned to stop at a rest area about thirty miles east of Barstow for lunch and to switch drivers, but wouldn’t you know it - it was closed for repairs. We eventually just took an off-ramp and stopped on the neighbouring on-ramp for a quick bio-break and a bite ...

10 minutes and Carol and I were already out. No time wasting here that's for sure. It was about 5pm and we were meeting the gang at Ross' room for Pre-Party before we hit the Party bus.. What's the party bus? You'll see!

... up our Mustang, en route to Las Vegas! Searching for Route 66 we find out it doesn't exits, (take route 215 instead). We're driving through the Desert, stop for some shopping in the middle of no where, I have a go at left hand drive, drive onto on coming traffic, Bride screams, I decide she needs to drive from now on. Endless traffic as far as the eye can see, it's getting dark, Vegas lights beacon the way, drive into Hard Rock Hotel, Valet ...
