Loved the quiet location away from the strip and yet minutes drive to all the locations. I'm not a gambler so have nothing to say about the casino but enjoyed the rest of the stay and restaurant. Best part was getting room at ridiculously cheap rate of $25 and no resort fees..

Overall, Las Vegas was a very different place to visit and Ash and I were amused by some of the adult activity going on in the street. I will definitely be coming back here when I am older as there will surely be many more things to do. I don't think we are going to have a better stop than Las Vegas for the rest of our entire ...

... arrived in Vegas at night time. We were able to see the famous casinos lit up as we passed by, as well as loads of wedding chapels. Vegas was light filled, glitzy, gaudy, pretty and awful all at the same time. We found our casino, the El Cortez, with no problems, parked up and checked in. Despite being night time, it was again amazingly hot, at about 41 degrees celcius. After our tiny room with a single bed in San Diego, we were greeted by a huge ...

... your padlock must be TSA approved so security can open the case if they want to.

A full two hours after the flight had landed (I think Gill had actually taken off on their plane by the time we left) we finally emerged from the airport looking for a cab to take us to the Bellagio. Before we could make it to the rank what I can only describe as a crook in a suit approached us. I knew what was coming. He'd eyed up fresh meat from across the road, tourists in other ...

... excellent food. Then we watched 'Jersey Boys ' in the Paris theatre, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. A great Show! Once outside we walked through thousands of revellers drinking margaritas by the yard, wearing bikinis or less, until we boarded the bus back to Sam's Town. As Winnie is being returned tomorrow, we had to pack our suitcases, empty the cupboards, and eat and more importantly drink everything in the ...

... and Lou for our Vegas night out. Bob, who we had met in Bolivia, had fixed us up with guestlist at the Tao nightclub in the Venetian. After some drinks in the casino we headed to the door - turns out guestlist meant free entrance and free drinks for the girls!! The club was awesome, but after a few drinks Chris Crazy Legs came out and it all got a bit blurry...what happens in Vegas...! Day 66 - The Hangover. We woke up in a blurry haze. Chris immediately checked in the mirror ...
