Working in Pattaya

On the way back home we stopped in at one of the bars on the beach side of Walking Street. Many of these are built out over the water, so we wandered right to the back where you sit in an open area, enjoy the breeze and the view and sip on a nice cold beer - we had Carlsbergs at 49 Baht because it was one of the many Happy Hours. Very pleasant.
Back to the hotel and off to bed - a busy day tomorrow....

Bed bugs!!!!!!
... out the ladyboys harder. Every st is packed with middle aged men and their Thai prostitutes. At least Patong had a slightly more party atmosphere. Well we got amongst it! Saw our first pingpong show. They did nasty tricks with razors, bananas, drinking coke and smoking cigarettes with their pussys. Yuk Yuk Yuk! I wasn't particularly impressed with any of it. Maybe people had told us too much about the shows. We expected more. Ha ...
My last days abroad
... unto a visit of one week. You see the Jontiem/Pattaya area is too nice to leave. I decided to stay away from the cold places remaining in my itinerary, such as Xian & Guilin, in favor of the warmer weather of Jontiem. The guys were great hosts and I got to sample the life of a retired “farang” in Pattaya. Quite interesting! A day at the beach here. Shopping the next! Run errands. Eat out! A little sightseeing on my account. All very enjoyable!

... niin voi sanoa. Suomen kentällä jos näin kävisi, oltaisiin vihaisia, tutkittaisiin koko laukku perusteellisesti, tehtäisiin uusi tarkastus sekä laukulle että ihmiselle. Ja samalla saarnattaisiin, että ei nesteitä koneeseen, etkö osaa lukea ohjeita ja pullo vietäisiin pois.
Mutta koska sain luvan juoda, niin ei muuta kuin toimeksi. Pullossa on kruunukorkki, eli tarvittiin avaaja. Kysyin turvatarkastustädiltä avaajaa ja hän kaivoi sellaisen jonkun laatikon uumenista. Ei muuta ...
