Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia kangta_z... can be...

More wandering about the city saw us eating at a few street stalls, sampling from a buffet of largely seafood related dishes, where the locals were eating their meat and rice dishes by hand (right hand of course..)
Very tasty and naturally very cheap ($2 including a drink)

Stay tuned for the next installment: More in KL and two days in Bangkok...
I can hear everyone abating their breath while they wait...

Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia walshy_88... a $170 perfume! what the? i know... chanel - coco mademosielle... ah it smells delicious! then we got on the singapore to KL flight. i thought the flight was amazing... instead of looking at your windows and seeing black sea or clouds, i seen bright lights the whole way... not sure what cities we were flying past but it was just pretty freaky to see them all so close...

when we arrived in KL it was a little weird... all the men ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia miss-vixen... with their friends... tears ran down their faces... but ones of joy. It's sad to leave those we care about behind, but with all things in life, there are transitions, as I was moving on to my next phase of this trip and life, so were these kids. I do admire the bonds they share with close friends; it is a natural part of being human.
The bus winded down steep turns and mountain villages to the freeway back to KL. It was a long trip, but relaxing, and I ...
Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia tstiles... with the kids for the time we’re here. Later on that day, Leon, the VP of Project management at the TUC AIESEC chapter stopped by and we went out for lunch. Leon is a very cool dude, and he took us out to a place known as a mamak. Mamak’s are places run by Indians and are known to be the cheapest and most delicious food. Also, many of them are open 24 hours. I ate roti telur, which is this huge piece of thin dough stuffed with egg and ...
Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia shivan... that the guides in the hotel were approved by them.

Oh treking! not again, up, up, up was not the start that I had hoped for. Thankfully we had a porter who carried my bag and was very kind and helpful to 'mam' and kept telling me where to put my shoe - whilst he did it in flip flops! We did see and pass by Orangutangs (2 mothers with babies), we later found out that these were semi wild, they had been released into the jungle but knew that ...
Petaling Jaya, Malaysia jenrog... are now about to leave Malaysia and head to Nepal on the 13th of May. We have really enjoyed SE Asia but are also ready to move on. We are approaching our 4 month mark of traveling together and feeling ready for more adventures. In Nepal we plan to do a two week Trek in the Himalayan mountains so our next blog will not be coming for several more weeks. We will be free of any technologies and to be honest we are excited for this. Time for some peace and quiet and clean mountain air!
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia katenclint... for posterity's sake.

Rising 452 meters (that's about 1,483 feet!) over the metropolis, they're an architectural display by day and a magnificent sight by night, towering amidst all the skyscrapers dotting KL's skyline.

Our group, however, missed the chance to go up the sky bridge, a double-decked structure connecting the two towers, where tourists are rewarded with a sweeping view of ...
Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia arnobs66Holiday. In the morning, I went to help get the Hall ready for the film show. Did very little. Previewed The Mechanic. Stupid show. Shirine and I left in the middle of it.l We walked to her house and then went out to lunch with her mother, sister, and auntie. On the way home, stopped at her auntie's house. Home about 3:30pm. Only three of us at home for dinner. Taught May how to read music.
Petaling jaya, Malaysia ahartry... the program started. They had sketches (okay) until dinner. Dinner was rice and chicken and veggies -- candlelight. They also had a path of candles leading from the Hall to the canteen. After dinner, there was a fashion show. Then everyone else played games, but Shirine and I had a long talk. It was very nice. Anyway, I got home about 11pm.
