Somehow we have managed to get to a week of living the KL life. Well. Not really. We've managed a week of living in a hotel with free food and drink 24/7 and being driven from air conditioned apartment to air conditioned apartment looking for somewhere to live. Today, dad woke me up and told me to get ready really quickly. It didn't take long for me to remember that we were going to catch the bus to KL. Fabulous view from the pool deck on level six of thirty three!! Dinner was had in one of the restaurants....we shared three different hotspots. The rice dish was tasty, the small soft noodles looked like grubs but tasted ok, but I wasn't fond of the beef porridge. After dinner we decided to walk to Chinatown ...

... in Kuala Lumpur was very strange everyone seemed to be in a great hurry but everywhere was very quiet. It was quite unnerving! The journey from the airport was interesting. Four lane roads with hardly any cars until you got to the pay plazas where it was every man for himself - think Milan on a Friday night when everyone is getting away for the weekend. You get the picture, Laurie? Our taxi ...
