... tour guide, saw some beautiful horses, and were able to watch a training session. This morning we left Lake Dunmore and headed NE and stopped in Waterbury, VT to visit the Ben and Jerry ice cream factory. ... and it still falls apart. ) The fly started "spitting" water in heavy down pours. The rain fly is never tight, it sags, even using the guy lines. When it gets wet, the rain fly will touch the tent body, allowing condensation to run down the side of the body, into the UNSEALED seam by the tub....and into the tent. When you have to get out of the tent, the damn zipper on the rain fly catches the zipper cover and jams up....at least 3 out of 4 ...

... Then black clouds rolled in, a few giant drops of rain, and then......nothing :) Greatest feeling ever, not being rained on. We ran across a few semi-confused day hikers...the can't find the trail they are suppose to be on....and the ask me for directions.....lmbo, they would be better just closing their eyes and trying! ... who went to Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, many, many years ago. The town is very small but the college has almost as many people as the town. The word about this college is they had 1115 students apply for admission and 1100 were accepted. Can only imagine why 15 weren't:)) It really is a beautiful campus on top of a hill. ... got out of tent to pee.....got bit 3 times! The hike up was hard...but man, what a view! Well worth the effort. We are headed into Glencliff tomorrow....I am ready for this shower, clean clothes, and a bed! My foot/knee/hip will be appreciative of the break also.
