Welcome back, and oh how very humbling.....

Tuesday at high noon I boarded a Qantas plane in Melbourne, it's now 9.30am Wednesday in fabulous London, I'm just enjoying a coffee on the streetside undercover while black cabs stream past and rain patters down.... just waiting for an appointment in Saville Row before heading to Gatwick. By 7pm tonight I'll be in Florida, and with time differences that makes a whole ...

I decided the best route was to follow the beach ...

Rose was excited and nervous at the same time. It's a long time since she flew. As she said at the end...'Well, I survived that!!!' The flight itself was good, good food, good choice of movies. Here's the run down: Barbara - Gone Girl and The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel Veronica - Interstellar ...

... man. After consuming extensive chocolate, and I realised that my presents were
not particularly original, but they politely accepted them with grace and
humour. We later spent a glorious evening out in their garden, the Christmas
lights glinting on the lake, chatting, and I essentially became an OAP 60 years
early. It was beautiful.

Before I knew it, it was my last day in Florida. We headed off to Gatorland,
where the Gators jumped for their chicken ...
