I smiled when I saw the bathroom, it is fine, but rather than a separate shower, there is a shower that will get the whole room wet whenever it is used. After a speedy breakfast, we meet up with out boat and set off across the calm waters, the kids chattering excitedly about snorkelling and fish.

We would think this is odd, and continue on our way. Without fail, though, we would be drenched in rain not 20 minutes later.

That was Ko Samet, nice beach island for the latter part of the trip! We then traveled back to Bangkok for our flight. Gretchen can tell you what happened on the way back...

... we had planned a trip to the nearby island, Koh Samet. Joining us on the trip were another 2 friends of hers named Shiro and Steve. The first night we stayed in a gorgeous luxury room overlooking the ocean. The beds were soft, the room cool, and the breakfast buffet was a large spread including an omelet station. Jenny and I were so happy to get back to the beach we spent all day on the sand and playing in the waves. Shiro and Steve joined us for dinner ...
