    ... dinner. We had seen many chip shops on our travels but as we were cooking in the camper we never bought any. Finding proper chips, as opposed to fries, in Melbourne proved more of a challenge than we expected. In the end we had to settle for a chippy that did large fries (but not quite chips). Mine with gravy on!

    Melbourne is a city with a cool mix of old and new. You'll find historical buildings mixed in with modern architecture, and they both really compliment each other! It's nice, safe, friendly, clean, and easy to navigate. Today, CNN named it 'the #1 most livable city in the world' and we can definitely see why!

There were about 10, then 20, then to our amazement, hundreds of penguins started coming up out of the oceans, swimming across a little brook and waddling up to the pens setup on the thrushes for them.     After what seemed to be forever, and inexperienced Qantas staff not knowing how to handle the situation we made it to Melbourne at 11:15pm via Jetstar.
    An unplanned overnight stay in Melbourne, compliments of Qantas.
    Waited on advice from Qantas as to forward bookings as we eat dinner at 12:30am.
