    ... unable to come up with the software-enabled car at the last minute, so the whole project was shelved. Fast forward to the end of October and a couple of new cars make an appearance, and once again we are asked if we want to go. Luckily we both had a 5-day gap in our schedules, so were up for it.     We have left the worst of the weather behind us thank goodness but it is still wet and grey. Had breakfast and then went up on deck 15 to watch Gibraltar getting nearer. Arrived approx one and were off by half past, just as we had got to the cruise terminal the heavens opened and we waited awhile until it had stopped.     ... and a cheeky white... It is a hard life. In the evening we had a table for two and I had a Caesar salad and a sirloin steak which was lovely. We went up to Manhattan and saw Andrew Browning who was a George Michael tribute act and very good, after that we saw an act in Mallabar and by the time they had finished it was gone 12 and not wanting to turn into a pumpkin we retired for the night looking forward to Gibraltar ...

    ... kitchen gardens. Those I had never seen before. They are extensive, walls within walls. Rhubarb is their speciality and they have well over 100 varieties! An unusual claim to fame. I should live closer. I love rhubarb.

    We saw lots of Canada geese with their young as well as a number of grey squirrels.
