... next day we went to the Park de L'Orangerie to have a picnic in the sun. It was a beautiful day and the entire city was out and about. Saverne is one of the larger towns in the area and boasts a beautiful main street with half-timbered houses which provides a very Germanic look and feel.

Our tour leader took us on a lovely walking tour with the assistance of a map he picked up at the Tourist Office. He started with a ...

This morning we spent time in the classroom continuing with our primary focus of English, Maths, History and languages. We are confident the bit we are doing each day is challenging Kate and Roy and helping them maintain their direction with study.

After lunch we ventured out into a cold and very cloudy afternoon to explore the area around Haselbourg. Even though Haselbourg is quite small, we are surrounded by numerous other towns in very close proximity. ...
