Yet another sunny day....who said it always rains in England! Perhaps I had better keep quiet or it might change! We left our wheat field near Chichester and headed off towards the New Forest which is not new at all as it was created as a royal forest by William l in about 1079 for the royal hunt, mainly of deer. It was created at the expense of more than 20 small hamlets and isolated farmsteads hence it was a 'new' compact area in ...

Beauty on the doorstep

I'll keep saying this until I go blue, but there is nothing quite like the beauty on our own doorstep.

Today I went with my auntie down to a little place called Seaton. I can't say its forgotten because the local know its there. Seems like everyone else is more intent on Looe or Newquay, so I'll go with it's semi-forgotten.

I did not reach the rather scruffy Sydney Arms, my B&B for the night, until 5.30. What a contrast from Inglemere and £5 more! Not even any soap! Sainsbury's was nearby, so I bought food for dinner and fruit for next ...

... out Hugh, but just where is he. Suggestion is that in his counting house counting all the money. A great time had by all. The final of Wimbledon is on so we head to the pub and watch the final stages, the joker prevailed over the fed express in five, pity as all and sundry wanted the other to win. Back at the park around seven bells, no rest for the wicked as our activities are starting to bank up. The girls ...
