... They had a beautiful shop, nursery and farm produce shop, similar to Chatsworth bit on a smaller scale. It is worth a visit. It is close to the lovely little village of Kenton. Next we drove down to the beach in Sidmouth-the beach was very pebbly. Next drove to Lyme Regis which is similar to St Ives. Lovely drive down into the town-sat by the beach and had ice cream and walked a little way up the street. Have lovely shops. Next came Bridport ...

I was pretty bummed out that we drove right by Stonehenge and did not have the time to park and take a look. ... the profits generated amongst the charities they choose to support.

Our day is highlighted by a 2 km walk back to Knapp which we passed through yesterday. This time we were determined to find the Rising Sun pub, an effort which was repaid royally. Sunday lunch is an English tradition and it was delightful to be able to be reunited with this tradition at such a splendid hostelry in a tiny hamlet.

    After lunch ...

... reassures me that she is following the Mary Michael and Keith line, and the Keith line is the most important she says.

With 14 kms walked we arrive at our B&B at Trevarrick House and find Debby has done us proud by finding an absolutely splendid place to restore our bodies and minds over the next two nights. We visit the Bird in the Hand pub in the village for a good dinner thus bringing another lovely day to a happy ...
