... So what do they make with it!? I feel that I've never seen my coworkers eat fruit except in a beverage form. A few take freshly squeezed juice with me after lunch and we'll usually enjoy...musk mellon (small canteloupes), pomegranate (all seeds smooshed along with the sweet juice), mambosa (sweet lime), pineapple (my fav at the moment) or watermelon. [a nice treat at 50c a glass :)]. So still, no fruit. And seemingly people just eat a different form of rice and curry ...

We started our day sharp at 8 am, as planned. Breakfast at Prasanthi Hotel offered idlis only and that was just fine with us. I also got my first cup of filter coffee – Black, I insisted.

Kollam or Quilon seemed more of a trading town and there wasn't much we had to see. So we headed for Aleppy or Alapuzha which is very popular for its back waters and house boats. I was the first driver and I started the drive with change of music. The music system approved of my USB ...

After the highs and lows of the Cricket World Cup in Bangalore, we decided on a nice wind down and some wildlife spotting at Mudumalai National Park, located at the foothills of the Nilgiri Hills, south of Mysore.
