Premier arrêt quelques kilomètres plus loin, à Paliton Beach, une plage idylique : sable blanc et fin, palmiers, mer turquoise et bateaux de pêche. My bike's first RoRo
The trip has begun. Tonight, I took my motorcycle on it's first roro (roll on roll off) ferry ride from Iloilo, Panay to Bacolod, Negros. It was night, so no pics of that. There will be many more to come. Spent the night in Bacolod and had some of their famous chicken inasal at Chicken Deli. All in all, not a bad start for the trip. My new bright headlight is on the fritz!

But the water fountain's rubbish!! I don't get it!
... explored more of the city than we expected on the way back to the hostel when Sam got us lost! (I didnt get us lost. I was exploring with out knowing fully where I was. This is not lost!) We stopped at a MacDonalds for the loo and it was lucky I came out at the moment I did, as Sam was asking the security guard for directions. It was a good idea, but would have been more useful if she was asking for directions to the hostel ...
