... Wunschdenken finden mussten.

Dank der lieben Jacqueline bei STA in Hamburg haben wir den in einem Flug mit Etihad Airways auch recht schnell gefunden. Der Preis war im Vergleich zu Emirates oder Lufthansa unschlagbar günstig und der Umstieg in Abu Dhabi lässt sich auch verkraften, da etwa 2 h später schon unser Anschlussflug startet. Wem die Fluggesellschaft nichts sagt, ...

... fand ich langweilig. Während des Grübelns trank ich eine Dose Litchi-Saft, die mir Lina in einem Asien-Welcome-Package zu Weihnachten geschenkt hatte(@ Lina: Ist übrigens total yummy *g*) und die brachte mich dann auch auf die richtige Idee. Nimmt man die ersten Silben unserer Vornamen, ergibt das nämlich Li-Chi (ist ein wenig um die Ecke gedacht, ich weiß). Und damit haben wir eine schöne Brücke zwischen uns und Asien geschaffen, oder? ;-)

... is cast off and 3 huge tugs push and pull us out into the deep water channel before spinning us round to head seaward.

Yvonne & Anne are on they pier by the ferry terminal, but I am so high up, they look like dots. It is only through the zoom on my camera that I can distinguish them. We nose our way out into Southampton Water and away towards the Isle of Wight. I would have loved to be on the bridge but the Captain has said this is not to be while entering or leaving port. ...

April/Mai: Dehli -Berlin. Berlin lasse ich aber verfallen weil ich ja etwas
länger als ein Jahr unterwegs sein werde:Juli 2012- Juli 2013 (incl.)
Da ich nach Sansbar/Tansania möchte, muss ich eh über Äthiopien (Addis Abeba), das wäre
in der One world ticket eh nicht drin bzw. würde durch weitere
Kontinentberührung auch genauso teuer wie ein neuer Flug: Dehli-Addis-Sansibar-Hamburg.
