... enjoyed seeing again. We also walked along the city walls, which date from the 30 year war. We met a local guy who showed us the inside of one of the towers and then he walked with us beside the wall to where there was a tunnel, which was also used during WWII. He was from a local group hoping to raise enough money to restore the walls; about 1.2 million euros.

I liked walking around the old medieval towns we had visited. I enjoyed ...

... to Munich via train instead of car, so we spent the rest of sunday afternoon arranging to drop the car in Hamburg instead of Munich and then buying train tickets. All worked out well, so we stayed an extra day in Hamburg (Monday) and were able to get laundry done (whoopee!!) and go to the Miniatur Wunderland, which was pretty whoopee.

4am and we're up with the sun again! I already miss sleeping in. We decided to use this time to look for places to stay in Hamburg tonight but we didn't have any luck, so we will try our luck when we get there. We'll see how that goes! We pack up all of our stuff making zipping sounds for a good 20 minutes. We leave the apartment without ever seeing our host the whole time. Oops! She was very nice over email haha. We head down the street and grab ...

Went to see where they repair. Lufthansa and customer plans. Couldn't take pictures inside, but neat facility. Got up close to 747 being overhauled. Saw two 747 for a middle Easter rich guy, being outfitted. In all a cost of about a billion dollars. Enjoyed some free time in Hamburg Olster Lake. Rode on a solar powered ...
