Next we chose our preferences for excursions with the local Witnesses for the days preceding and following the convention. These include spending a day in the ministry, touring some of the Watchtower Society facilities, visiting wild animal parks, and shopping at a local market. It will be such a joy to experience all of these things surrounded by our spiritual brothers and sisters!

... all of the Donner party was able to be rescued. This happened some time ago, however, a local of Tahoe had been trapped for three days in the recent downfalls. We are off for the day's adventure and after the first half dozen turns we are lost. We duck into a servo and get pointed in the correct direction and we are off down the road at eighty odd mph. ... booked the next car up online it would have been about 10 / 20 for the whole trip! Also a sat nav was going to cost $170. Richard helped us look for a sat nav to buy but they were still $80 so we decided to go oldschool and use a map! Just hope we can navigate through LV!

... real camera would be. The iPhone is great, and the resolution is pretty impressive for closeups, but it just cannot do a mountain justice. After talking to him, I walked and visited the California Museum where famous and important Californians are honored on walls with tributes to them.
