... our longing for peace. If we are exhausted, he enlarges our capacity. If we are depleted, he is our destination. If we are broken, he is our healer. Physical sources may cover the issue momentarily, but the void returns and each time it is more devastating and destructive than the first time it surfaced. Our hope can never be found in anything this world has to offer. They can never replace the rest God offers. Our only true hope is found in him. My soul will find rest in ...

... We jumped from a pontoon. At first I was a little scared, but then I got used to it. We ate hotdogs for lunch. Then we all played cricket on the beach. We also had a big BBQ at night.

I can't wait to go back to Thessaloniki to see our friends again.

... not see one nice individually owned house in Bulgaria and in the country side all the gardens were intensive food growing allotments. There were very few plant nurseries in Bulgaria but in both Greece and Turkey there are lots, I think nurseries are a reflection of affluence they are nice but not necessary. On the other hand Bulgaria looks naturally richer, the soil looked fantastic and amount of beautiful woodland was a testament to the rainfall.

... amount of coast line with beautiful beaches, not your typical Euorpean rocky beaches and lastly I hear the islands are very different from one another and worth visiting....

One last thing...I forgot to mention the famous Greek drink of Ouzo...it's a killer when you drink too many...I'll say no more.

We hope to return to another conference in 2013 on the island of Rhodes near Turkey ...thanks for following our blog!
